and of course tacos.
My name is Rosalinda and I am a destination wedding photographer based in Mexico. I enjoy the simple things in life and I find beauty in the small details that often go unnoticed.
Pouring my heart into my work to create a visual legacy, for both you and your partner, is my ultimate goal. I am committed to capturing your personal story in the most natural way.
As your wedding photographer I will be close to you most of the day. Sometimes with my camera, sometimes as a friend.
I am happy and grateful for having the job of my dreams. I would be honored to help you preserve the most significant moments of your wedding.
I studied marketing and fashion design, but photography was a language that attracted my attention and I began to study it. In 2012 I started to dedicate myself completely to it. Both in weddings and in commercial work, I usually combine my backround education with photography.
7 years ago I photographed my first wedding and I never imagined that it would become something so special for me. (click next to read why)
When I was younger I always look at the photographs my grandfather took to my grandmother and her children. I imagined what those distant eras were like (40s-50s-60s), those dances, those trips and those places that appeared.
One day while I was shooting a wedding I realized that I was not only taking pictures for a couple who love each other, but also those images would be the images that someone would see to know the history of their ancestors. I understood the importance of my work as something valuable that will last and will go through many generations.
I believe in self-love and I believe that beauty is not only under a single archetype of beauty. Last year I applied to be a curve model and guess what? Now I am part of a modeling agency in Mexico.
I understand that you can feel insecure when someone takes pictures of you, it's not easy at all. Part of my job as a photographer is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and be yourself.
In addition to wedding photography and portraits I also dedicate part of my time to the production of photography and contemporary projects. I have exhibited my work in Mexico City, Tijuana and Monterrey.
Not many people know, but I like to write. I have a secret blog somewhere on the internet
I never know where to look when they sing me the mañanitas (Mexican song for happy birthday)
